Mitsis Faliraki

Mitsis Faliraki is a five-star, all-inclusive beachfront resort on Rhodes’ east coast, located on the northern fringes of the lively town of Faliraki. This landmark property has recently undergone a renovation, supporting the Mitsis Group’s mission to redefine hospitality and entertainment on the island.

Working in close collaboration with our client, WATG and Wimberly Interiors have reimagined several key spaces within this resort. This includes Club8 – a pool club featuring a 50-meter heated pool, private cabanas, and a DJ deck, as well as the Welling Performance & Spa Center– a holistic wellness area, designed for complete relaxation and rejuvenation. Both zones, while located within the resort’s premises, operate outside the hotel’s all-inclusive offering.

While these upgrades are now complete, overall renovation works are ongoing, with a focus on enhancing the public realm and further elevating the resort’s luxury tourism offering. Most importantly, Mitsis Faliraki is being refreshed to welcome not only international travellers but also residents, as part of a broader, guest-focused philosophy that sets the property apart.

Club 8, a buzzy pool club, centres around a 50-metre pool framed by super cabanas and versatile lounging zones. By day it is a lively poolside escape; by night it hosts DJs, live music, and events. Open to the public from the main road, it invites both hotel guests and locals to share in its energy.

Anchoring Club 8 is the restaurant and bar, creating an axial focal point from the arrival piazza down the length of the pool. Here, bespoke handmade sculptural turquoise tiles are the backdrop to a layered outdoor dining experience celebrating freshness, where bold colour and textured materials are the hero. Iconic pink umbrellas and upholstery frame the pool club and complement the cool turquoise water of the pool.

The Welling Performance & Spa Center offers a more relaxed space for guests and visitors, providing a tranquil counterpoint with spa and fitness spaces nestled within lush planting, creating a sanctuary of wellness and calm.

This idea of sanctuary and calm is carried through to the multilevel interior with tactile neutral materials and tones leading guests through a sequence of spaces; from arrival and retail through to a relaxation lounge that is strongly connected with the landscape and a series of luxurious treatment rooms, each with a private courtyard.  On the lower level, dramatic moody spaces lead guests to the ultimate VIP experience, complete with private gardens, indoor hot tub and private amenities for pampering as well as relaxation.

Additionally, a new sports hub offers padel courts and a multi-use games area animated by a vibrant artwork by a local artist, encouraging friendly competition and playful movement across previously unused spaces.

Together, these various hubs decentralise activity, enrich guest choice, and transform Faliraki into a multifaceted destination alive with energy, play, and serenity.
