WATG’s design concept for Mitsis Rinela Beach was rooted in the idea of creating a seamless fusion between luxury, nature, and the beachfront location. Our design team aimed to craft a resort that would celebrate the natural beauty of the surroundings while offering a contemporary and refined atmosphere for guests. 

The design concept embraced open spaces, blending indoor and outdoor areas to ensure a harmonious connection with the picturesque coastal setting. By utilizing local materials and incorporating traditional Cretan architectural elements, WATG ensured that the resort would authentically reflect the local culture while maintaining a sense of timeless elegance. 

The architecture of Mitsis Rinela Beach captures the essence of Greek island living, with white facades and sleek lines that exude sophistication. The resort features a low-rise design, blending seamlessly into the coastal landscape. WATG carefully considered the spatial arrangement to maximize ocean views from every possible vantage point. 

The landscape design complements the architectural vision, with lush gardens, cascading water features, and secluded enclaves that provided privacy and tranquility. The interiors seamlessly connect to outdoor spaces and onto the beach, inviting guests to indulge in the beauty of the surroundings. 

At the heart of Mitsis Rinela Beach’s design philosophy was the desire to create a memorable guest experience. WATG collaborated closely with Mitsis Hotels to ensure that every aspect of the resort would enhance guests’ enjoyment and leave a lasting impression.
