Opening Fall 2024 – WATG and Wimberly Interiors announce the opening of our new office in Dallas, Texas, marking a significant expansion into the south central region of the U.S.
Since our inception, WATG has been a pioneer in hospitality, tourism, and destination design. Our team of 500 creative professionals, spread across eight offices on three continents, dedicates their efforts to crafting landmark urban and leisure destinations globally. Established over 75 years ago in Honolulu during the post-war travel boom, WATG is celebrated for its adventurous spirit and its knack for creating new and exciting destinations. Our portfolio boasts renowned projects such as the Venice Simplon-Orient Express, Nobu Los Cabos, Hotel Del Coronado, Shangri-La Singapore, Emirates Palace Abu Dhabi, Chedi Katara, and the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel, among many others.
Leading the Dallas office, Richard Luis and Kathy Chavez bring a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to excellence. Richard Luis, as Managing Principal and Office Director, will spearhead the office’s growth and support clients with his extensive expertise in luxury, lifestyle hospitality, and residential design. Kathy Chavez, in her role as Studio Director, will oversee the interiors practice, ensuring the delivery of innovative and bespoke design solutions that align with Wimberly Interiors‘ high standards.

The Centrum
We are currently retrofitting nearly 6,000 square feet of space in The Centrum (3102 Oak Lawn Ave, Dallas, TX 75219), a vibrant new mixed-use development where Dallas’ Uptown, Turtle Creek, and Oak Lawn neighborhoods converge.
