CHALLENGE The challenge was to design a Balinese style luxury resort that would offer guests privacy, tranquility, spectacular views, and an unforgettably exotic experience.
SOLUTION One-, two- and three-bedroom secluded villas were carefully designed to reflect Bali's traditional architecture and natural beauty. Luxury villas offer private ocean-view plunge pools with infinity edges, and open-air lounging area. The sensitivity to Balinese design can be seen in the low-rise massing and in details such as thatched roofing, limestone carvings, Balinese doors, slate and marble floors, and limestone fences. The resort's four story hotel is perched dramatically on a bluff overlooking the Indian Ocean.
