Uniquely positioned on an elevated site above a Blue Flagawarded beach, Mitsis Summer Place, an all-inclusive fivestar resort, boasts 360-degree views across the Aegean Sea and offers a stunning sky line view all the way to the coast of Turkey.
The property, owned and operated by Mitsis Hotels – a stalwart of the Greek tourism industry – reopened in 2019 following extensive renovations to its public spaces, elevating
the resort’s star rating and status on the island of Kos.
Mitsis Summer Palace received upgrades to the main restaurant and pool amenities, requiring an integrated services approach by WATG and Wimberly Interiors to achieve a holistic, considered space. Grecotel
Amirandes is a sophisticated five-star resort destination, operated by Grecotel, offering guests contemporary luxury. Located on the Cretan coastline, WATG and Wimberly Interiors converted Amirandes from a dated, budget 1970s-era hotel to an award-winning, upscale destination, designed in the style of an ancient Minoan palace.
While the original hotel comprised two hundred standard guestrooms, the updated design has seen the addition of private sea villas and waterfront suites, as well as key enhancements to the public areas. An Elixir spa, with massage suites, restaurants and bars have also been introduced, elevating the overall experience, and contributing to an increase in the hotel’s star rating and ADRs.

Mitsis Rinela Beach
Mitsis Rinela Beach, located in Kokkini Hani in Crete, is arranged as a densely packed village that fronts onto a Blue Flag beach, just 15 minutes from Heraklion Airport.
The property, owned and operated by Mitsis Hotels – a stalwart of the Greek tourism industry – reopened in 2022 following extensive renovations to its guest rooms, landscapes and main building facades.
