Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City is a 4,000,000-square-foot renovation of the former Trump Taj Mahal on the Atlantic City Boardwalk in New Jersey, designed by WATG (formerly SOSH Architects) as architect of record in collaboration with Jeffrey Beers International and Wimberly Interiors, and opened June 2018. Completed in under a year, the transformation introduced a 2,100-slot gaming floor, 120 table games, a centrally relocated 400-seat Hard Rock Café with boardwalk access and ocean views, 2,000 renovated guestrooms and suites, 150,000 square feet of event space, and Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena with capacity for 7,000 guests.

When Hard Rock International purchased the former Trump Taj Mahal in March 2017, SOSH Architects took on the role of Architect of Record, leading the building transformation of the new hotel. In collaboration with Jeffrey Beers International and Wimberly Interiors, the design team transformed the once closed casino into a modern, vibrant, and energetic entertainment destination in less than a year.
The newly renovated property boasts an expansive gaming floor with 2,100 slots and 120 table games, high limit gaming space, ceiling wide custom chandeliers and glass column memorabilia cases to showcase Hard Rocks priceless collection. The Hard Rock Café was relocated centrally within the property in a new 400-seat venue with improved indoor and outdoor stages, panoramic views of the ocean and direct boardwalk access. Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena was revamped to accommodate 7,000 guests. In addition, the new hotel and casino also features 2,000 renovated guest rooms and suites, 150,000 SF of event space, indoor pool, nightclub, marketplace, spa and VIP lounges.
Situated along the iconic Atlantic City boardwalk, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City opened its doors on June 28, 2018.
