House and Garden
The Orient Express just got a little more luxurious, with new suites designed by Wimberly Interiors to reflect the splendour of its famous destinations.
The mere mention of the Orient Express conjures up images of old-fashioned luxury, images associated with its heyday in the 1920s and 1930s, when royals, aristocrats, and diplomats used the train as their preferred route from Paris to Istanbul. While the regular Orient Express service has long ceased to operate, you can still travel from London to Paris and Venice on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, and from Venice to Istanbul on a special annual journey. And now you can do it in even greater luxury than ever, with the introduction of opulent new private suites designed by Wimberly Interiors.
