The Giza Palace Hotel and Spa is a striking new landmark in the heart of vibrant West Cairo, where authentic Egyptian hospitality meets sophisticated architectural and interior design to deliver an unparalleled luxury experience. Wimberly Interiors was tasked with designing a guest experience that is both rich in comfort and deeply connected to Egypt’s regal history.
Wimberly Interiors led the interior design across this expansive, 33,000-square-metre hotel, covering 560 elegantly appointed rooms and suites, swimming pools, a spa, and a grand ballroom accommodating up to 1,350 guests. The property also includes five serene garden areas and seven world-class restaurants and bars.
WATG worked to replan the building from the existing structure, transforming the envelope and façade to better support the overall vision of an ultra-luxury, 5-star hotel.
The design narrative has been centred around a classical approach with subtle Islamic design influences throughout. The scheme focuses on a grand, timeless elegance, grounded in a warm, residential sensibility. The hotel boasts a symmetrical shape with embellished motifs, and the incorporation of antiquities and layering of landscape within, all encompassed in a welcoming, yet palatial feeling.

From the moment guests arrive at the Giza Palace Hotel, the arrival experience is designed to set a luxurious and truly memorable tone for their stay. The grand entrance leads to a reception area that offers views of the walled garden. Towering lantern chandeliers, sumptuous drapery, and hand-selected furnishings create an immediate sense of refinement. At its heart, the living room of the hotel is anchored by a one-of-a-kind marble fireplace, while walls are adorned with curated local artwork.
