Ocean Casino Resort is a series of renovations and expansions at the Ocean Casino Resort on the Atlantic City Boardwalk in New Jersey, designed by WATG (formerly SOSH Architects). The scope covers three distinct gaming and entertainment spaces: Nola’s Bar and Lounge (2,800 sq ft), a Las Vegas-style nightlife venue with a 35-foot bar and custom DJ booth; The Cove (7,500 sq ft), a semi-private high-limit slot room for 140-plus machines; and The Gallery (12,000 sq ft), a 100-foot elevated centre bar with 59 seats, 12 integrated slot machines, and 140 feet of LED walls connecting to a VIP Balcony Bar above.

Nola’s Bar & Lounge
Nola’s Bar & Lounge captures the essence of a Las Vegas-style entertainment venue within the heart of Atlantic City. With brass details, rich wooden walls, and emerald accents, the space exudes sophistication and warmth. A 35-foot bar serves as the focal point, complemented by an elevated premium seating area that provides excellent views of the 210-square-foot stage and custom-built DJ booth. This high-end lounge seamlessly integrates into Ocean Casino Resort’s evolving entertainment landscape, offering guests an exclusive nightlife experience without leaving the casino floor.

The Cove
The Cove is a semi-private gaming space strategically integrated within the main casino floor. A marble-like stone entrance creates an immediate sense of luxury, while an illuminated perimeter wall offers both privacy and intrigue. Inside, more than 140 slot machines are arranged alongside plush seating areas, private restrooms, a cage, a host station, a work area, and an office. This exclusive environment is tailored for high-stakes players, enhancing their gaming experience through thoughtful spatial planning and premium finishes.

The Gallery
The Gallery serves as Ocean Casino Resort’s center bar and lounge, offering a 100-foot elevated bar with 59 seats and 12 integrated slot machines. Encircled by a mix of blackjack and roulette tables, the venue is designed for both casual socializing and high-energy gaming. A striking feature of the space is the 140 feet of LED walls that enhance the ambiance and entertainment offerings. A 17-foot open-air staircase connects to the Balcony Bar, where VIP guests can enjoy an elevated sportsbook experience. The Gallery is a combination of rich textures, luxurious finishes, and customizable lighting, ensuring an unforgettable atmosphere for social gaming and nightlife events.
