At the intersection of refined hospitality and contemporary Moroccan allure, Paper Moon at Fairmont Taghazout emerges as a destination defined as much by atmosphere as by cuisine.
At the intersection of refined hospitality and contemporary Moroccan allure, Paper Moon at Fairmont Taghazout is a destination defined as much by atmosphere as by cuisine. The creative involvement of Wimberly F&B shapes the experience with a sense of measured elegance that honors Paper Moon’s celebrated heritage while responding sensitively to the light, textures, and coastal rhythm of Taghazout.
Responding sensitively to the light, textures, and coastal rhythm of Taghazout.
Wimberly F&B approached the project with a clear design philosophy, translating the timeless sophistication of the Paper Moon brand into a setting that feels deeply connected to its surroundings. The result is an environment that is confident yet restrained, luxurious yet inviting, where each element contributes to an immersive dining experience.
The spatial composition unfolds with intention and ease. Arrival moments are softened through layered views that guide guests naturally into the space. The dining room balances openness with intimacy, allowing the energy of the restaurant to be felt without overwhelming the guest. Carefully considered zoning ensures that every table feels part of the collective atmosphere while retaining a sense of privacy and comfort.

Texture, craftsmanship, and subtle contrast define the space.
Carefully blended local Moroccan craftsmanship with northern Italian flair to honor the brand’s Milanese roots. By combining these two identities, we created a space that tells a dynamic story of cross-cultural fusion without being thematic.
Materiality is central to the design narrative. Natural finishes such as warm woods, textured stone, and artisanal surfaces are paired with refined metals and tailored upholstery. This interplay between organic and polished elements reflects the surrounding landscape, where the Atlantic coastline meets architectural clarity. The color palette remains calm and grounded, allowing texture, craftsmanship, and subtle contrast to define the space.
