A state of the art, world-first freeform 3D printed luxury home
Curve Appeal is a 240-square-metre freeform 3D printed luxury home designed for Chattanooga, Tennessee, by WATG’s Architecture + Design Consultancy studio and Wimberly Interiors in collaboration with Branch Technology. The world’s first freeform 3D printed house, the project uses robotic fabrication to produce extreme curvatures and customised structural forms impossible with conventional construction methods, achieving high structural integrity with significantly reduced material use. The design received an honorable mention in Fast Company’s 2020 World Changing Ideas Awards.

Curve Appeal, also known as 3D House, is the world’s first freeform 3D printed home. To be constructed in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the project is the outcome of years of collaboration between Branch Technology and WATG, and is slated to revolutionize the architecture, engineering and construction industry.
Unlike traditional 3D printing, which moves in limited directions, Curve Appeal utilizes state of the art robotics to create customized shapes and extreme curvatures, resulting in high efficiency, high quality designs of the upmost structural integrity.
