Roger Gaspar brings to the team over 14 years of architectural design experience with a specialization in hospitality projects. Roger joined WATG’s Honolulu office in 1999 and developed an expertise in exterior and interior architectural character development and thematic studies while working on the Lotte World-Tokyo project.
Roger moved to WATG’s California office the following year and spent the next ten years designing various urban and resort destinations, major entertainment, retail and mixed-use developments in the United States and around the globe. As a senior project designer, he was involved in all phases of design, from master planning through construction documentation. Some of his projects include Montage Hotels & Resorts’ Saggio Hills, a boutique luxury resort in Sonoma Valley, California; Four Seasons-Westlake Village, an urban resort that comprises a hotel, spa, wellness center and TV studio in California; Limitless’ Hulehule Lagoon, a multi-resort, retail, residential and marina development in North Male’ Atoll, Maldives; Pine Valley Villas, a high-end private golf residential development in Beijing, China; and Villa Royale, a mixed-use, multi-hotel, retail and residential development in Tangier, Morocco.
Roger relocated to WATG’s Singapore office in 2009 and is currently working on various projects in the Asia region, including the new Ritz Carlton in Bali which opened its doors at the start of 2015; MGM’s Bellagio, a boutique urban-luxury hotel located at the North Bund in Shanghai, China; and the InterContinental Canggu in Bali, Indonesia which recently broke ground.
