Robert Day, WATG’s Director of Planning, has worked on a wide variety of hospitality, leisure and urban mixed-use projects around the world.
With more than 20 years of experience, his team approach – with both clients and consultants – coupled with his proven ability to integrate a complex variety of components into a cohesive and forward-thinking design, makes him a valuable asset to any development project.
Robert’s broad range of experience at WATG includes the planning of numerous resort, residential and urban communities. While based in our London office, he was commissioned by the Ministry of Tourism in Morocco as the resort planning advisor for their Plan Azur, a nationwide tourism strategy to develop six coastal resort zones.
Robert has been in our Singapore office since 2008, having previously worked in our London and California offices. Due to the variety of office locations his projects have taken him to many parts of the world, including Costa Rica, Bulgaria, Portugal, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Oman, Egypt, China, Vietnam, Indonesia and India. Since moving to Singapore his focus has been primarily on China, S.E.Asia and the Indian sub continent.
