Nicole Hammond is an accomplished senior architect recognised for her ability to realise projects from the earliest stages of concept design.

Nicole joined WATG in 1996 and has worked extensively throughout the Middle East and Europe. She played a key role in the design and management of The Lake Resort, Vilamoura, Portugal, which won a MIPIM Award in 2006 and is considered and of the most successful real estate developments in Portugal.

Nicole also played a leading role in the design of Jumeirah Beach Residence, a development of 36 residential towers at The Palm, Dubai waterfront and more recently, for the newly-opened Monte Mulini, Istria’s first five-star hotel. Most recently, Nicole has been heading the team for a multi-disciplinary, full-service signature hotel and spa destination in the Middle East.

Nicole’s global hospitality experience extends beyond hotels and resort developments and also includes theatre and entertainment venues. The depth of her knowledge of the hospitality and leisure industry and her skills as an architect have led to her becoming a valuable resource at WATG and a key member of both the design and management teams.
