Tal is a Chartered Landscape Architect with a strong technical background and a keen interest in landscape technology and design. He has over 20 years of design and construction experience, as well dedication to sustainable design solutions and the environment.
Since joining WATG in 2009, Tal has been involved in projects of varying scales throughout Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa. Recent projects include an exhibition and conference centre with an interconnecting hotel in Oman, a spa resort and five-star family resort in Qatar, and an innovative outdoor museum garden landscape as part of Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat Island Cultural District.
Tal is a valued member of the team, and regularly collaborates with our urban designers – utilising ‘CityEngine’ as a smart city design and modelling platform. He presented WATG’s innovative work on city design using this technology at the 2013 ESRI annual conference, and is the team’s GIS lead. At present, he is involved with the firm’s efforts to further streamline and integrate new technologies into the design process.
