Brad McNamee, senior vice president and design director, was an honor student and graduated from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo with a bachelor of science in architecture degree. Prior to joining WATG in 1987, he was involved in the design of residential, hospitality, commercial and retail projects.
Brad became a senior associate at WATG and is currently a senior partner with the firm. He has served as senior project designer for many of the firm’s award-winning projects, including: The Langham Hotel (formerly Ritz-Carlton) in Pasadena, California; Broken Top Golf Clubhouse in Bend, Oregon; and the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel, a four-star urban high-rise hotel at the Hollywood and Highland Entertainment Center in California.
Recently Brad has directed the design of several mixed-use, entertainment, and boutique hospitality projects throughout Asia, some of which include: The W Quayside Sentosa in Singapore to include a hotel, spa, residences, waterfront retail and marina; The St. Regis Singapore, a five-star hotel, spa and luxury residences; The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou, luxury hotel tower and serviced apartments; and The Oceanfront @ Sentosa Cove, luxury residences in Singapore.
Other recent projects include: Zhongda Luxury Residences, Xian; and The Ritz-Carlton Xian, a luxury hotel and retail complex.
