Bill Reed has contributed to the design and success of various hospitality, leisure and mixed-use projects around the world and has directed numerous high profile projects including: The Ayana Resort and Spa in Bali, Indonesia; Salamander Luxury Resort and Spa in Virginia; Four Seasons Hotel and Wellness Center Westlake Village in California; Hilton Mauritius Resort, boutique hotel and spa. Over the years Bill has fostered continued relationships with his clients and created a bond with each, collaborating with them to bring their visions to life.
Recently Bill relocated from one of WATG’s US offices to our Singapore office to be closer to his clients and help grow the firm’s Asia presence. Since joining the Singapore office Bill has been very active in growing the office’s urban and boutique portfolio. He has also taken a great interest in mentoring up-and-coming leaders in the firm through organizing workshops and presentations to the staff to share his knowledge.
Bill is an active speaker and participate on the hospitality conference and seminar circuit with a recent speaking engagement in Shanghai where he discussed ideas regarding “Sense of Place”, Regionalism and the Guest Experience. Bill’s recent design efforts include the Ritz Carlton Reserve in the stunning and unique landscape of Juizhaigou, China and the newly opened Rimba Resort in Bali, Indonesia, the boutique sister property to the successful Ayana Resort and Spa. Taking the destination and culture as inspiration, each project that Bill is involved with is inspired by the place and lasts the test of time.
