Ali brings to the team more than 10 years’ experience in the design and implementation of landscape architecture projects across Southeast Asia, working on large-scale residential and mixed-use schemes through concept and detail design work stages, to supervision of construction on site.
After joining WATG Singapore in 2011, Ali led the design effort on Residential North Puteri Harbour – a prestigious marina project in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, which is currently under construction. He later relocated to our Irvine, California office – a move that enabled him to develop a broader knowledge in his field, and understanding of the nuances of designing for different climates.

He holds a Master of Arts in Urban Design from Leeds Beckett University, United Kingdom, and a Bachelor of Arts in Landscape Architecture from the Trisakti University in Jakarta, Indonesia, alongside affiliation with the Singapore Institute of Landscape Architects (SILA).
