The results are in and we are delighted to announce that WATG and Wimberly Interiors have had an impressive selection of hotels and resorts recognised in Travel+Leisure’s prestigious ‘World’s Best 2017’ Awards.

Travel+Leisure’s ‘World’s Best 2017’ Awards showcases the greatest travel destinations voted for by the public. Respondents were asked to rate each entry on a number of characteristics. The results were combined and averaged and a scoring index (out of 100) produced, as shown below:

Travel+Leisure’s ‘World’s Best 2017’ Awards are the latest honour for WATG and Wimberly Interiors. In the past year, Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort, Sri Lanka was named as one of the ‘Best New Hotels in the World: Hot List 2017’ by Condé Nast Traveler and awarded ‘Best Hotel Architecture, Sri Lanka’ and ‘Best Hotel Interiors, Sri Lanka’ at the Asia Pacific Property Awards. CNN named WATG’s Laucala Resort, Fiji as the ‘top luxury offering of 2017’, and two innovative designs by WATG; Tu Lien Bridge, Vietnam, and Seattle Towers, received the prestigious 2017 American Architecture Awards.
