Water Tower Place (Renovation)

CHALLENGE The challenge was to conduct a major renovation that would infuse a new, exciting street and public area image, and build upon the existent qualities of this landmark vertical mall on North Michigan Avenue.

SOLUTION Exterior entrances and visual approaches were energized and enlivened with new flooring, ceiling treatment, graphics, lighting and water features. Atriums and courts were updated while maintaining the existing understated architectural character.
