One&Only Royal Mirage

CHALLENGE The goal was to create a resort hotel that would challenge the status quo of sleek, contemporary high-rise hotels in Dubai. The quality of the architecture was to underscore the opulence of the culture patterned after a traditional Arabian home.

SOLUTION The inspiration for the design is based on the very rich heritage of the region's traditional Arabic themes which permeate every aspect of the five-star resort. The resort challenges the region's existing large scale, high-rise competitors. Courtyards, waterways and terraces extended the fantasy of the One&Only Royal Mirage and effectively maximize the outdoor space-use options for the operator.
