CHALLENGE The challenge was to create a high-class resort development on a steep site that would stand out from existing surrounding developments.

SOLUTION Using the site as inspiration, the design team created a unique solution where local stone walls were incorporated into the design of the hotel and residential houses. Villas followed the steep topography and were partially concealed underground to minimize the amount of above ground building, opening up sea views and also blending with the surrounding open countryside. Not only does the dynamic entertainment retail piazza link to the hotel, apartments, and restaurants, it provides space for a boutique retail area and an intimate space for markets or performances.
