CHALLENGE The challenge was to create an environment that would stimulate children's imaginations and creativity while encouraging children to explore, experience, and express their own world.
SOLUTION WATG led a team of consultants and specialists to create, develop and implement a design for which no prototype existed. Six distinct clusters were designed, each with elements that encourage family interaction and learning, fun and creativity. LEGO models depict famous buildings and scaled down street scenes from cities around the world. Careful attention was paid to the integration of hardscaping and landscaping to seamlessly blend the building entries and walkways with their surroundings.
