CHALLENGE The challenge was to create enchanting, sophisticated interiors for a new ultra-luxury resort that celebrates Costa Rica's beautiful Guanacaste seacoast and the region?s rich cultural heritage.

SOLUTION Inspired by the breathtaking beauty of the coastline and diverse flora and fauna, the design team married traditional Costa Rican design with contemporary style, while expressing the authenticity of the region in every aspect of the property. The interiors blend elegance with relaxed comfort and are rich in both indigenous tradition and world-class sophistication. Regional and native materials are used extensively to create an authentic environment that expresses a genuine sense of place.
