FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
London, July 2012
Hotel Monte Mulini was among the first three hotels in Croatia selected to receive the exclusive certificate of quality "Q" by Croatia's Ministry of Tourism. Visionary design firm WATG provided fully integrated architecture, interiors and landscape design for the five-star project.
In addition to service excellence and continuous quality improvement; the management of these hotels had to demonstrate, amongst other criteria that they invest in staff training and adhere to environmental standards.
"The competitiveness of Croatian tourism is the focus of interest of the Ministry of Tourism in this term of office, and quality is of one of the key elements in strengthening the product," said Minister of Tourism Veljko Ostojic. He also stressed that the purpose of this award was to create visibility in the market, and to encourage and reward hotels that had set high standards.
"The Q Mark is a great example of cooperation between the public and private sectors. This is a project of great value that will surely add market value to all hotels honored with the award,"' explained Mr. Peter Lösch, Manager Luxury Division at Maistra Inc.
In recognition of Hotel Monte Mulini's status, The Leading Hotels of the World (LHW) has also welcomed the property as a member of their collection of the world's most prestigious hotels.
"We extend our congratulations to Maistra and Hotel Monte Mulini on these significant achievements," remarked Jeremy Heyes, senior vice president, WATG. "This was a fabulous project to work on and we enjoyed collaborating with Maistra on positioning Hotel Monte Mulini as a dynamic new destination in Rovinj."
