CHALLENGE The design challenge was to renovate the aging, 20-acre Hilton Hawaiian Village without interrupting hotel operations.

SOLUTION Through a multi-phased program, WATG created a village around a central open space by demolishing certain buildings, renovating others, and building new ones.

AMENITIES A village of mixed-use buildings: 10 restaurants and lounges; 100 specialty shops; 113,000 square feet of banquet and conference space; cabaret theater; lagoon; four swimming pools; health club; two luau gardens
