CHALLENGE The design challenge was to allow all 353 rooms an ocean view and to minimize the scale of the buildings so that the guest experience is more in line with the Balinese intimate relationship with the natural environment.

SOLUTION Angled guest rooms allow for an orthogonal building arrangement more like Balinese courtyards and provides for 100 percent ocean view rooms. All hotel amenities are accessed through a series of courtyards and covered garden walkways.
