CHALLENGE The goal was to equip Claridge's with state-of-the-art, 21st century conveniences while preserving the charm and detailing of this 100-year-old Grade II historic landmark - all while keeping it open.

SOLUTION For this major renovation and refurbishment of London's most prestigious hotel, immense care was taken to ensure that Claridge's style was preserved, with the unobtrusive introduction of highly sophisticated technology. Restoration of period details was accomplished with the support of English Heritage, and an electronic record was created on CD-ROM of the building and contents of each room.
